The Company
Carbon Offset Global Pte. Ltd. (COg) is a Singapore-based company, preparing to launch into the voluntary carbon offset market, primarily in Asia, which is currently underserved. COg is in pre-launch preparation, intending to soft-launch during the second quarter 2010. This brief is for a company logo, brand logo and offset badge. There is also a requirement for this to be applied to a full range of stationery and online.
Service Offering
COg offers individuals and businesses the opportunity to offset their carbon footprint. SimplyOffset reduces the process to a single, average-driven one-step process. For example, in Singapore, the price for an individual’s annual carbon footprint offset is US$ 70. COg has a supply agreement that enables the company to offer suitable projects whilst maintaining a relatively low retail price. The carbon offsets are delivered by investing in carbon credit projects with a sustainable development focus, primarily in Asia.
Positioning
Carbon Offset Global is a global player in a relatively new but serious industry, and is serious about what it does. After all, the future of the planet is at stake. Therefore, credibility and reliability are key communication elements.
In terms of brand personality, SimplyOffset does not take itself so seriously. Similar brands would include Virgin, Body Shop and IKEA.
Requirements
A full suite of stationery designs (see below) is also required, so logo designs need to work well in colour and black and white, and across different media.
1) COg company logo
a. COg is a pun on the symbolic representation of carbon dioxide (CO2), and the design should reflect this.
2) SimplyOffset logo
a. This is the “basic” personal offset product.
b. Relationship is “SimplyOffset from COg”
c. Perhaps use COg as superscript (like TM)
3) SimplyOffset badge
a. Downloadable
b. For use in an email signature, Facebook profile, etc.
c. The badge shows the customer’s status
d. Essentially, this is a carbon offset certificate.
e. Needs to be dated (e.g.: currently 2010/11).
f. There will be individual, household and business versions, as well as variations (e.g.: adding a word, maybe change of colour) to show enhanced status.

color that will fit perfectly to the site, but the name design must be exactly green color with white outline like "Make Money Online". All the letters will not be in capitals. The start of each word in the name of the website will be in capital letter (See the attached file word document).

feel a character may not be appropriate to the design please feel free to post your own opinions and examples of what style you think may work as the logo should be professional and modern first and foremost maybe something slightly corporate may help. If you can win me over with a few examples of the styles you think may work (again - does not have to be your own work as lon as you can match the quality) the job is yours.
